Under the visionary leadership and initiative of our Founder/Global Chief Executive, Ambassador Shirley Nkechinyere Hills, the ‘WOMEN FOR TRANSFORMATION (CONFERENCE AND HONOURS)’ in this maiden edition, has been birthed and designed by the ELITE Women Network International (EWNI) as one of our latest annual signature Projects from our ‘ELITE Leadership Empowerment & Advancement Program’ running in alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) 5 (Gender Equality), and 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth) – two core focus areas upon which we run advocacy for the Empowerment of Women and Girls, and their inclusion in Leadership, Governance, Nation-building, and Economic Growth.

STATEMENT
For centuries, women have worn many hats almost at once and still endure to pull through and make their mark – as wife, partner, mother, organizer, administrator, director, re-inventor, economist, disciplinarian, teacher, health officer, artist, etc. showing the obvious truth that the woman has been and continues to thrive as a mega ‘powerhouse’ in the family and society, thereby oiling the wheel of progress for her immediate and extended family without displaying her prowess in the limelight…
PROGRAM GOAL:
To inspire and encourage our societies to foster an enabling environment for women’s continuous participation in leadership, governance, nation-building and economic growth, as well as embrace the role and contribution of women and girls in effective societal transformation, while equipping women with the capacity and support for efficient and impactful governance in both private and public sectors for sustainable development and global advancement.
OBJECTIVES:
- To awaken women’s participation in leadership, governance and nation-building.
- To optimize awareness on the advocacy for gender inclusion, diversity and equity for advancing National and Continental socio-economic growth.
- To empower women (and girls) to be agents of change for the growth and advancement of society.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The ‘Women For Transformation Conference and Honours’ is an annual program that is designed based on our core values and drivers, and in this maiden edition, we are focused on ‘Inclusive Leadership, Governance, and Socio-economic Growth through Female Participation and Gender Collaboration’.

The budget for this event is estimated at N16.5million (Sixteen million, five hundred thousand naira only). We are already receiving goodwill donations and pledges from well-meaning organizations as well as Sponsorships from some of our Strategic Partners.
