ELITE Women Development Network International Bids Farewell to its Pioneer Member, Board of Trustees; Ambassador Mrs. UYI STEPHANIE ODINUWE, at her passing, while Celebrating Her Posthumous Birthday!
[Abuja, Nigeria – 23rd April 2024]:Life is indeed a series of natural and spontaneous changes, and we must learn to accept them, and not to resist them.
It is with heavy hearts but with total submission to the will of GOD Almighty, that the ELITE Women Development Network International announces the passing of Ambassador Mrs. UYI STEPHANIE ODINUWE, a beloved pioneer member of our Board of Trustees and Governing Council, a loving soul, solid support, selfless philanthropist, avid advocate for Women’s Empowerment, and a Powerhouse Woman indeed. As a faith-based Organization, we believe that she has been ‘Called To Glory’, and is now in a better place with her Lord and Maker.
Late Ambassador UYI STEPHANIE ODINUWE departed from this world on the morning of Saturday, April 20th, 2024 after a brief illness, leaving behind a legacy of love, leadership, genuine friendship, kindness, and compassion. She was the embodiment of dedication, commitment, and empowerment. Her tireless efforts in supporting the less privileged, advancing medical philanthropy, and advocating for women’s development and empowerment have left an indelible mark on our Organization and the countless lives she positively touched.
Today, April 23rd 2024, was meant to be a day of celebration for Ambassador UYI STEPHANIE ODINUWE, marking her 54th birthday. Instead, we find ourselves mourning her loss, but also celebrating her life and the incredible impact she had on our Organization and on all who knew her.
Late UYI ODINUWE was not just a leader, wife, mother, and grandmother; she was a beacon of hope, cheer, benevolence, and inspiration. Her unwavering dedication to uplifting others, her infectious joy, her hospitality, and her boundless generosity touched the hearts of everyone she encountered.
Though her physical presence may no longer be with us, Late Ambassador Mrs. UYI STEPHANIE ODINUWE’s spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives she has impacted and the legacy she left behind. We choose to celebrate her life, her achievements, and her unwavering commitment to making her own contribution to the elevation of humanity through our Network, for she truly fulfilled her destiny in making the world a better place for all.
Mama (as we fondly called her), was greatly loved, and shall be greatly missed, but we take comfort in the fortitude and peace of the Lord, knowing that she is indeed in a better place now. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and experiencing her. May her peaceful soul enjoy eternal rest in the bosom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
